Before you start with the planning of your building project, please contact the community Aesch that will show you the easiest way how to receive an official building permit. You may receive the official building permit in 2 ways (simplified description):

Building petition procedure:
Your project fulfils the exploitation possibilities which are foreseen by the building law for these sites (industrial area). You will submit your project plans for your building intention together with a use description and proof of sufficient parking spaces for your future employees etc; in the ideal case you will have your building permit after 2 months.

District planning procedure:
This procedure takes place in close cooperation with the community Aesch and is required i.e. if your project plans a sales area of more than 1’000m2. Such a project requires an approval of the communal assembly as well as the Government Council of the Canton Basel Land. The processing of the district planning with the decision of the communal assembly takes a couple of months. The building petition procedure takes place afterwards. The community will actively support you, so that you will receive your building permit within a short time.
